BONDED TECHNOLOGY BOOST FOR RIMLESS DISPENSING

Lens cracking and stress marks, common with some rimless assembly systems, could be a thing of the past with a new range of bonded rimless frames from specialist company, Eye Index.

Described by Eye Index as the most simple and secure rimless glazing system yet available, the new glazing methodology offers a variety of major dispensing benefits:

• No loose parts to be lost (one-piece moulded frames)
• Improves patients' area of vision
• Lens cleaning is easier
• Totally adjustable in every direction
• Virtually guarantees a perfect set up every time - 100% accuracy with lugs and bridge
• Can be easily re-glazed to new prescriptions

The main innovation behind the new system is a unique bonding fluid that joins the metal parts of the frame to the plastic lenses, reducing stress on both Hi-Index and Polycarbonate Lenses. All lens materials (except 1.56 Index) can be used in the process.

The new frame collection is called CLIMAX and includes two rimless styles, with each style available in three eye shapes and two colours. All three lens shapes can be 'mixed and matched' with the different colours available. The titanium frames come complete with free case.
