Base 8 Wraps

To help you choose the best options on Wrap-a-round eyewear Eye Index is pleased to present a range of prescription sunglass lenses for tinting and glazing into a high quality range of sports and fashion frames. Using the latest technology, and the best Polycarbonate lens materials, our experienced glazing staff can produce lenses up to base 8 curvature.

Prescription Parameters - Single Vision:

Combined powers of:

• - 4.00 to + 4.00 Sphere with opposite Cyls to 3.00
• Maximum diameter 75mm
• Prisms will be worked to achieve accurate optical centres where possible

Also available in:

• Progressive and Bi-focal lens types.

Included on ALL lens types:

• Mono tint
• UV400
• Scratch resistant hard coating

Also available:

• Tinting
• Mirror coating
• Anti-reflection coating

Please Note: It is not possible to glaze all types of sports eyewear and 'fashion wraps' and we may not always be able to match tint samples exactly - please contact us if you have any queries.

Polycarbonate lenses are strongly recommended for this type of glazing:

• Polycarbonate lenses are most suitable as they are highly impact resistant
• CR39 does not have the same strengths and is not recommended
